356. A chord divides a circle into two arcs, one of which is 2 times larger than the other. Find the measures of the inscribed angles that are based on this chord.

Дано: коло; АВ – хорда; (АМВ) ̌ > (АВ) ̌ в 2 рази. Знайти: ∠АСВ, ∠АМВ.
Розв’язання
Нехай (АВ) ̌ = х°, тоді (АМВ) ̌ = 2х°.
(АВ) ̌ + (АМВ) ̌ = 360°; х + 2х = 360; 3х = 360; х = 120.
(АВ) ̌ = 120° (АМВ) ̌ = 2 • 120° = 240°.
∠АСВ = 1/2 (АМВ) ̌ = 1/2 • 240° = 120°
∠АМВ = 1/2 (АВ) ̌ = 1/2 • 120° = 60°.
Відповідь: 120°; 60°.
