Student B. 1. What is the largest city in Ukraine? – The largest city is Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. 2. What nationalities live in Ukraine? – Ukrainians, Russians, Belarusians, Moldovans, Poles, Hungarians, Romanians, Tatars and others live in Ukraine. 3. What mountains are there in Ukraine? – There are the Carpathian Mountains in the west and the Crimean Mountains in the south. 4. What is the highest mountain in Ukraine? – The highest mountain is Hoverla in the Carpathians (2,061 metres high). 5. What climate zones are there in Ukraine? – Most of Ukraine has a moderate continental climate, and in the southern part of Crimea the climate is subtropical.
