Culture & Traditions: embroidered shirts (vyshyvanka), folk songs and dances, Easter eggs (pysanky), borshch, dumplings (varenyky), Ukrainian hospitality. Cities: Kyiv (the capital), Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia. Symbols: blue and yellow flag, trident (tryzub), anthem “Shche ne vmerla Ukraina”. Climate: moderate continental, warm summers, cold winters. Economy: agriculture (grain, sunflower oil), IT industry, metallurgy. People: hardworking, friendly, freedom–loving, creative. Tourism: Carpathians (skiing, hiking), Odesa (beaches), castles in Western Ukraine, Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, UNESCO heritage sites. Current Events: resilience, unity, and defense of independence.
