5. Describe the types of climate below. Give some examples of the countries having them.

1. A continental climate is when summers are warm or hot and winters are cold, with a big difference between the seasons. For example, Ukraine, Russia, and Canada have this type of climate. 2. A dry climate is when there is very little rain and the land is often desert–like. For example, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Australia have this type of climate. 3. A polar climate is when it is very cold all year round, with snow and ice covering the land. For example, Antarctica, Greenland, and northern Canada have this type of climate. 4. A temperate climate is when there are four mild seasons with moderate rainfall and not too hot or too cold temperatures. For example, the UK, Germany, and New Zealand have this type of climate. 5. A tropical climate is when it is hot and humid all year round, often with a lot of rain. For example, Brazil, Indonesia, and Kenya have this type of climate.
