About England England is a country in the United Kingdom. Its capital is London. England is a monarchy and is famous for the Royal Family, Shakespeare, football, and The Beatles. The climate is mild and humid, with lots of rain. Red double–decker buses and afternoon tea are also traditional symbols. About the USA The USA is a federal union. Its capital is Washington, D.C., and the largest city is New York. The country has many symbols such as the White House, the Statue of Liberty, and the eagle. The climate is very different in different parts: from Arctic in Alaska to tropical in Hawaii. The USA is known for Hollywood, Silicon Valley, jazz, and NASA. Its people are a real “melting pot” of nations and cultures.
