Yesterday my friends and I (1) were chatting during the morning break when Jake (2) received a text from our friend Aysha. She was sick and told us that she (3) couldn’t come to school for the rest of the week. So we (4) decided to send her a photo of us all with a ‘Get well soon’ message. Unfortunately, my phone (5) wasn’t working very well and the picture wasn’t clear. It (6) was a bit annoying but we finally (7) managed to take a good picture. As we (8) were sending it, the school bell to tell us that break was over. Perfect timing!
