3. Complete the sentences with the verbs in the correct form. There is one verb in each set that you do not need.

1. A: This bag is so boring. I’d like to decorate it with something – like these red hearts, perhaps.
B: Why don’t you put your name on it and customise it completely?
A: Good idea! No one else will have one like it! I’ll design some cool letters to put on it.
B: Good idea! And I’ll sew them on the bag for you.
2. A: Your bike isn’t working again – you’re going to have to fix it.
B: Oh, not again. Look at it! I don’t know who designs this type of bike, but it’s not very good.
A: Why don’t you just recycle it and buy yourself a new one?
B: I think I’ll mend it one more time and save up for a new one.
3. A: I think that we can use this material again, you know, recycle it.
B: Yes, we can create something completely new!
A: Like a dress, maybe? I can sew the different pieces of material together.
B: OK, and I could decorate the pockets with little flowers in a pattern or something.
4. A: That building’s beautiful – that glass wall looks so amazing. Who designed it?
B: No idea, but it looks like they are rebuilding part of it. Look, there’s some stone and other things over there.
A: No, they haven’t finished building it yet! And look! They’re customising it by sticking metal letters all over the walls. Maybe it’s the company name...
B: Oh, yeah! It looks like they’re using recycled materials, too – they’re creating the letters from old bike parts!
