Jed really wanted to win the art competition at school. He had been drawing every day for two weeks. On the morning of the competition, he finished his picture of a beautiful mountain village. However, when he arrived at school, he realised that he had left his picture at home! Jed was very upset, but his best friend helped him. They quickly called his dad, who brought the picture to school. Jed arrived just in time to give it to the teacher. Later that day, the teacher announced the winner. Jed couldn’t believe it when she said his name. He was delighted to win first prize!
