Hi, I’m Lucy. Thank you (0) for visiting my blog about Ukrainian food. Today, I (1) am going to tell you about borscht. It is a traditional Ukrainian dish that is becoming popular all (2) over the world. It’s a delicious soup made with beetroot, potatoes, carrots, onions, cabbage, and meat. You (3) have also add some cherries for flavour. Borscht (4) gets its bright red colour from the beetroot, which also gives it a sweet taste.
To make borscht, I chop all the vegetables, cook the meat for 30 minutes, and then add vegetables to a pan with water and the meat. I cook borscht for 20 minutes. Finally, I add the some sour cream (5) on top of each serving. If you ever visit Ukraine, make sure to try borscht or (6) cook it at home!
