Hi! It’s Lucy again. Today’s blog is about one of the easiest meals I’ve ever made! It was lunch a week ago. We don’t often eat together at lunchtime on Sundays, (1 – B) because we usually eat out at weekends. But last Sunday, we were all at home (2 – D) as it was too snowy to go out. I decided to make a meal for everyone. I couldn’t go out to buy anything, (3 – E) so I used simple ingredients that everyone could find in the kitchen. I made halushky, a traditional Ukrainian dish. I started by making the dough. I mixed flour with water, salt, and eggs. Then, I rolled it out and cut it into small pieces. Finally, I dropped the halushky into boiling water, (4 – A) and cooked them for about 10 minutes. When they floated to the top, they were done. I served them with butter and sour cream. They were delicious!
