4.Work with a partner and discuss the following questions.

1. How do you feel about the fact that George was jailed? – As for me I feel sorry for him as he tried to save her daughter from danger.
2. If you were Susie, would you have gone to the police? Why (not)? – No, I never. He is my father and he knows how to do better.
3. How would you have handled the situation if you had been in George’s shoes? – I would try to explain and forbid to go outside.
4. Why do you think George acted the way he did? Why do you think Susie acted the way she did? Justify your answer byreferring to their characters, childhood and environment. – George acted in such way as he wanted better life for his daughter, he as a father understands better what she needs, besides he had a nice picture of his family. Susie acted that way as she is a teenager and in this period they think that know the life better than parents. Besides company influences a lot on every person.
