The Wrong Door
I knocked on the door and waited. The hallway was quiet, and I was feeling a little nervous. While I was checking my phone, the lights inside suddenly turned on. I was thinking my friend was coming, but the door opened slowly and an old woman was standing there, looking surprised. I realised I was waiting at the wrong apartment. I was apologising again and again while she was laughing kindly. She told me my friend lived on the next floor. When I finally found the right door, my friend was already waiting for me. We both laughed about my mistake, and the evening ended happily.
