4. Choose the correct form of the collocations from Exercise 1 to complete the text.

Before the maths exam yesterday, it (1) crossed my mind that I might not pass it. There was one really difficult question in the exam where I couldn’t (2) make up my mind what the answer was. And to make it worse, there were some students behind me, talking all the time, so I (3) lost my concentration. All I really wanted was for someone to (4) give me a hint so I could answer the question, but obviously that doesn’t happen in an exam.
