I’ve just read a really funny novel called The Humans. It was written by English author Matt Haig. The (1) main character is an (2) alien who finds himself in the body of a dead university (3) professor. The alien is sent to Earth to destroy evidence that the professor had solved a big mathematical problem, but the alien soon finds himself learning more about the professor, his family and ‘the humans’ than he ever expected. When he becomes (4) comfortable living with his family, who have no idea he’s not the real Andrew, the alien must choose between returning home or finding a new home here on Earth. I (5) absolutely loved it!
