2. Read the notes about African elephants. Then write the information in the correct place in the paragraph plan below.

Paragraph 1: African elephants live in forests and grasslands in 37 countries in Africa. They eat leaves, grass and fruit.
Paragraph 2: Adults are very big and they weigh 2,268 kg–6,350 kg. They live in the wild until around 70.
Paragraph 3: Females have one baby, called a calf, every two-four years. When they are born, they weigh about 91 kg. There are about 470,000–690,000 wild African elephants today.
