1.You are going to enter the Junior Chef cooking competition. Work in teams and decide on your recipe.
Recipe: Vegetable Pasta Bake
Ingredients List:250g pasta (penne or fusilli); 1 red bell pepper; 1 yellow bell pepper; 1 zucchini (courgette); 1 carrot; 1 onion; 2 cloves garlic; 400g can of chopped tomatoes; 100g grated cheese; 1 tbsp olive oil; Salt and pepper (to taste); Dried oregano or Italian herbs.
Simple Recipe Steps:
1. Boil the pasta in salted water for about 10 minutes. Drain it.
2. Chop the vegetables (peppers, zucchini, carrot, onion, and garlic).
3. In a pan, heat olive oil, then cook the vegetables until soft (about 8 minutes).
4. Add the chopped tomatoes and herbs. Simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Mix the pasta and sauce together, then put it in a baking dish.
6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
7. Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
