3. Read the Prepare to write box. Read the texts and underline the following in each one:

1. Maksym's message – shopping vocabulary. Bought, shop, sells, styles, promotion, 10% discount, receipt, assistant free case, customer service.
2. Emily's message – determiners. these cute trainers, me, them, myself, the local sports shop, several of my friends, pink ones, some orange and blue ones, plenty of people, anyone, my secret store.
3. JD's message – two different tenses.
Past Simple: Last week, I was at the shopping centre. I went into Soundz. I saw these great Bluetooth headphones. I put them on and listened to several songs. I got a 10% discount.
Present Simple: Soundz is my favourite shop. They have an online store. I prefer to go to the shop. You can find a lot of cool stuff there.
