Last week I went to an (1) exhibition called ‘Chickens’. It was held in the local art (2) gallery and it showed the work of a local (3) painter, Katija Vorelli, amongst others. As we arrived, we saw an enormous (4) sculpture of a chicken outside the building! Then we went inside. Katija usually only does colourful (5) paintings, but this time she included some pencil (6) drawings. The (7) poet Ricardo Peters was also there and he read some of his (8) poetry. It was a fun evening and gave me some ideas for my own paintings and drawings.
