Hi folks!
We (1) are setting off for Italy on Saturday so I thought I should send you some quick reminders.
There (2) are going to be queues at the airport this weekend so the bus (3) is picking us up outside the school gates at 10 a.m. Please make sure you’re there at least half an hour before! We (4) aren’t leaving Milan until Tuesday so we’ll have time to look around.
We (5) are visiting the Duomo, Milan’s amazing cathedral on Sunday morning. And then, in the afternoon, we (6) are meeting the guide for a food tour of the city. I know you (7) are going to love that – Italian food is wonderful! Our first concert is on Monday. The venue (8) is lending us a practice room. We can’t eat or drink there and we have to tidy it up after use. We (9) are going to Florence mid–afternoon on Tuesday. I’ll try to get us tickets for the Uffizi Gallery but it (10) isn’t going to be easy. Everyone says we must see the markets so we (11) are going to do that too. Florence (12) is going to be crowded so we’ll need to watch out for pickpockets.
Rome (13) is going to be our last stop with a concert on Friday night. Our plane (14) is not leaving until late Saturday so we’ll manage to do some sightseeing in the capital.
