3. Write some sentences to describe, in brief, all public holidays we celebrate in Ukraine.

We celebrate New Year’s Day on January 1 with family and friends. Christmas is a religious holiday when people go to church and have a festive dinner. On International Women’s Day people give flowers and wishes to women. Easter is celebrated in spring, when people bless food and paint eggs. Independence Day on August 24 celebrates Ukraine’s independence with parades and concerts. On the Day of Remembrance people honour those who lost their lives in wars.
