1. You are not ready for Geography lesson. (Student B – teacher, be polite.)
A: I’m sorry, but I’m not ready for the Geography lesson today.
B: That’s all right, but you should be more responsible.
A: I know. I will prepare better next time.
B: Please make sure you do your homework for the next lesson.
2. Invite B to your birthday party. (Student B – refuse politely and give a reason.)
A: Hi! Would you like to come to my birthday party on Saturday?
B: Thank you for inviting me, but I’m afraid I can’t come.
A: Oh, why not? B: I have to visit my grandparents that day. I’m really sorry.
3. Tell B you like Computer Studies. (Student B – can’t hear and asks to repeat.)
A: I really like Computer Studies.
B: Sorry, I can’t hear you. Could you repeat that, please?
A: I said I really like Computer Studies.
B: Oh, that’s great! It’s an interesting subject.
