1. Easter is the feast of Christ Resurrection. 2. On the evening of Pure Thursday the Passion service is performed. 3. The people tap one another with pussy willow branches repeating: “Be as tall as the willow, as healthy as the water and as rich as the earth.” 4. I am not sleeping, he is tapping a week. 5. During Easter the pasky and pysanky are blessed in the church. 6. After the Passion service people return home with lit candles. 7. The last Sunday before Easter is called Willow Sunday. 8.
