–Why do people make friends? People make friends because they want someone to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with. Friends support us when we’re sad, celebrate with us when we’re happy, and help us feel like we belong. Friendship makes life more fun and meaningful.
–What do you need to do to have friends? To have friends, you need to: • Be kind and respectful; • Listen and show interest in others; • Be honest and trustworthy; • Spend time together and have fun; • Support your friends when they need help; • Say sorry when you make a mistake. Friendship is about giving as much as receiving. The more you care about others, the more they’ll care about you!
