Alice: Hi, Carol. How (1) was your weekend?
Carol: Well, I (2) went to the skatepark with Mia on Saturday, and I (3) visited my brother in hospital yesterday afternoon.
Alice: Why? What happened?
Carol: Well, he's a big fan of rock climbing. Last week, he (4) went hiking with his friends. While he (5) was climbing, he (6) noticed a strange wild flower. He (7) was trying to get to it when he (8) slipped, (9) fell down and (10) hurt his leg.
Alice: No! Is he OK?
Carol: Fortunately, his friends (11) drove him to the nearest hospital.
Alice: What an adventure! I hope he gets well soon.
