Ivan Franko was a famous Ukrainian writer, poet and thinker. He was born in 1856 and wrote many books, poems and plays. He was also a journalist and a political activist who wanted Ukraine to be free. One of his famous work is Zakhar Berkut, a historical novel about Ukrainian fighting against invaders.
I have read Zakhar Berkut. The story is really interesting.
