b)Complete the plan for the essay by writing down your ideas.

Paragraph 1: The present situation and your opinion: In the last fifty years the quality of the atmosphere has been decreasing very fast. The environmental problems are every day in the news, and although population and government are taking concious, we still have a long way to walk.

Paragraph 2: First reason for your opinion: There are several environmental problems that affect our health directly, but also others will have consequences in the future, and our children could suffer these consequences. Firstly, the quality of the air we breath is worse every day, and many people are becoming allegic. A problem that didn't exist a few years ago.

Paragraph 3: Second and third reasons for your opinion: Secondly, the destruction of rainforest is probably one of the most important cause of the global warming, because many trees are being cutting down, and these are the main lung of the Earth.

Paragraph 4: Action we can take; consequences if we don’t take it: On the other hand, thanks to some preventive meassures and to techological advances, some problems will be solve and won't have drastic consequences in a near future. In short, I feel optimistic about the future, and I think that our children won't live in a worse environment than we do.
