Most portable devices contain batteries, which store and provide electricity for their operation.
It is easy to create electricity from various sources such as fossil fuels, nuclear energy, wind, solar, and hydroelectric power. So what is this mysterious stuff that we call electricity? It is the flow of electric charge. The electricity that we get from power outlets and batteries can power many devices and appliances. The fact is that electricity can be used in various ways.
For example: – Electric motors turn electricity into mechanical energy.
– Light bulbs, fluorescent lamps, and LEDs turn electricity into light energy.
– Computers turn electricity into computational power.
– Telephones turn electricity into audio signals.
– TVs turn electricity into audio and visual signals.
